Publicist Cece Yorke said in a statement, “After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her bipolar II disorder.”
In announcing her illness, Catherine Zeta-Jones maybe a stuck up Hollywood lady but she can still suffer from the same mental illnesses as “real” people. Bravo for her for having the courage to first, get help, and even publicize her mental health condition.
